I am affiliated with ASCAP and operate as a one-stop composer — meaning no split ownership and no third-party approvals are required.

By purchasing, downloading, or using any music from this website, you agree to the terms below.

All music remains the sole property of Kaisound.

1. Ownership

Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable synchronization license to use the purchased track in timed relation with visual media, according to the license tier selected at checkout.

All licenses are project-specific unless otherwise stated.

4. Performance Royalties

Public performance rights are retained by the composer.

Performance royalties are collected through ASCAP where applicable.

For broadcast or qualifying streaming uses, licensees agree to:

  • Submit accurate cue sheets

  • Provide correct composer and publisher information

  • Ensure reporting compliance with distributors or networks

Failure to file cue sheets does not waive the composer’s right to royalties.

5. Content ID & YouTube Policy

Music may be protected through YouTube Content ID.

Licensed users:

  • May monetize videos

  • May dispute claims with proof of license

You may NOT:

  • Register the music in Content ID

  • Claim ownership

  • Whitelist third parties

  • Distribute the music as standalone audio

6. Exclusivity

Exclusivity is:

  • Available only for Commercial tiers

  • Time-limited (typically 12–24 months)

  • Defined by industry or media scope

  • Confirmed in writing

Perpetual exclusivity is not offered unless separately negotiated.

All copyright ownership remains with the composer.

You may NOT:

  • Resell, redistribute, or share the music as standalone audio

  • Use the music in AI training datasets

  • Mint or sell as NFTs

  • Register the music with any Performing Rights Organization

  • Claim authorship

  • Use in defamatory, unlawful, or pornographic content

7. Restrictions

If your project:

  • Secures national advertising

  • Moves to network broadcast

  • Expands into major streaming distribution

  • Is acquired by a larger distributor

9. Credit

Where customary and practical:

“Music by Kaisound”

Credit is expected for film and streaming releases.
Credit is not mandatory for paid advertising, unless it is a specifically commissioned piece outside of the library.

Licenses are perpetual for the specific approved project.

Licenses terminate automatically upon material breach.

Upon termination, future use must cease.

Does NOT include:

  • National paid ad campaigns

  • Network television advertising

COMMERCIAL LICENSE

For:

  • Paid digital advertising

  • Brand campaigns

  • Agency client work

  • OTT advertising

  • National campaigns

Optional time-limited exclusivity may be available for an additional fee.

COMMERCIAL EXCLUSIVE

Custom quote required for:

  • -Network television series

  • -Studio films

  • -Major streaming originals

  • -National broadcast advertising
